What does each rating mean?

A Highly Recommended designation is awarded manually to fewer than 10 firms nationally only firms scoring 90 to 100 are considered, and not all who score that high receive it. Recommended (60 to 89) indicates a clean, well-run firm meeting our fiduciary standards. Not Recommended (0 to 59) signals commission arrangements, affiliated relationships, disciplinary disclosures, or other concerns.
